Butterfly themes tip into cartoon territory very easily. This one does not. The wings are painted in translucent blush watercolor with delicate gold edging, and the florals below run through soft pink roses, cream blooms and muted sage leaves rather than anything saturated. Add the name and it prints in dusty rose beneath the arched wording, with the occasion in gold underneath, tying the napkins directly to the guest of honor. It suits a baby girl shower, a spring garden party, or a first birthday styled in the same blush and gold palette. Set against white linen with plenty of greenery, it photographs beautifully.
